2. How to Request a Refund
- Email us: Send a refund request to refunds@back-me-up.com
- Include: Your license key and purchase email address
- We process: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- You receive: Full refund to your original payment method
3. What Happens After Refund
- Your license will be deactivated
- BackMeUp will stop creating new backups
- Your existing backup data remains intact on your storage device
- You can continue to access your backed-up files manually
4. Exceptions
Refunds are NOT available for:
- ❌ Purchases made more than 30 days ago
- ❌ License upgrades (e.g., Basic to Pro)
- ❌ Purchases from third-party resellers
- ❌ Repeated purchases (buy → refund → buy again)

- Upgrades: Pay the difference between license tiers (no refund of original purchase)
- Downgrades: Not available (you keep your current license tier)
8. Processing Time
